Club Spade: Custom VRChat Lap Club World Commission

When designing Club Spade, the goal was to create something that felt different from a traditional VRChat nightclub. Rather than building a polished modern venue, the focus was on transforming an abandoned dock warehouse into a believable underground nightlife space.

The world takes place inside a large industrial warehouse that has been repurposed into a thriving lap club. Exposed steelwork, aged brick walls, warehouse equipment, and atmospheric lighting help create a gritty environment that feels both unique and immersive. The industrial setting gives the venue its own identity while providing plenty of room for socialising, events, and performances.

Every area was designed to support the way people naturally use VRChat. Large open spaces allow guests to gather and interact comfortably, while clear layouts and sightlines make it easy to navigate throughout the venue. The result is a world that feels spacious, functional, and engaging regardless of instance size.

Club Spade was created as a private VRChat world commission and built specifically around the client’s requirements. From the overall atmosphere through to the layout and functionality, every aspect of the project was tailored to suit the client’s vision.
